Diagnosis Original diagnosis by Malmgren (1867: 50): "Corpus sublineare postice attenuatum. Pedes per totum corpus aequales setis spinosis et falcatis, formam posteriora versus perpaullum mutantes. Proboscis maxillis duabus validis et paragnathis separatis, annulatim et gregatim dispositis, praedita. Paragnathi superiores articuli basalis proboscidis laterales: solus utrinque humilis elongato-oblongus compressus transversalis, medii: pauci subconici. Paragnathi inferiores articuli basalis aequales conico-rotundati, annulum duplicem formantes. Lobus cephalicus e basi Iata oculis 4 praedita, breviter conico-attenuatus apice truncatus.[details]
