Diagnosis Test large, up to 1.4 mm in length, chambers one-half coil in length, early stage quinqueloculine, later chambers added on opposite sides of the test in a single plane; wall calcareous, imperforate, porcelaneous, with surface layer of agglutinated quartz particles; aperture at the end of the final chamber, multiple, with a trematophore.
