Diagnosis Test attached, consisting of up to four nearly equal sized hemispherical chambers, commonly symmetrically arranged, each nearly circular in outline; wall finely agglutinated, white to yellowish in color, smoothly finished, attachment wall very thin, delicate, and translucent and may break when loosened from the attachment so that chambers appear open ventrally; a single small, rounded aperture at the apex of each chamber.
