Diagnosis Mitrocomidae medusa with 4 radial canals; marginal cirri spirally coiled or not; 8, 12 or 16 (exceptionally up to 19) statocysts. Hydroid of ‘‘Cuspidella’’ type; operculum pleated, presenting no clear limits with the hydrothecal margin; gonothecae unknown. [details]
