Authority Bacescu (1940) denotes Paramysis strauchi Czerniavsky, 1882 a nomen nudum; it is only mentioned in a key of Czerniavsky, but propersly described there under the name Paramysis ullskyi. Sars (1897) separated the two species, suspecting Czerniavsky dealt with mixed material, and even put them in different genera, and gave a thorough description of the latter. [details]
