Unreviewed
Remark Heding (1942) recognized only two species in this genus, namely Ypsilothuria talismani E. Perrier and Ypsilothuria bitentaculata (Ludwig). According to him, Y. talismani has two Atlantic varieties (subspecies) whereas Y. bitentaculata has one Atlantic and two Indo-Pacific varieties (subspecies). [details]
