Nomenclature Texeira et al (2015) mention in their abstract that an unpublished Diplocirrus glaucus subspecies name from a thesis (Nonato, 1981) is considered a nomen nudum. It is likely to be a nomen nudum when it has been mentioned in published literature, but wasn't one in Nonato, because Nonato is unpublished. Texeira et al (2015) note that the name was recorded from Ubatuba and in other nearby locations (Morgado & Amaral, 1988; 1989; Paiva, 1990) [G.Read, Oct.2015]. [details]
