Editor's comment It seems likely this name is indeterminable to species, as McIntosh had only a dried posterior fragment. Moore (1903: 485) gives a tentative and unlikely record for Japan seas, but otherwise there have been no records since. The Hartman catalogue lists Praxilla challengeriae as indeterminable. [details]
