However this may be invalid, the original combination is Eumolpe longissima Blainville, 1928 currently placed in Acoetidae http://www.marinespecies.org/polychaeta/aphia.php?p=taxdetails&id=327623 in which case Polynoe longissima Izuka, 1912 is not preoccupied and Lepidasthenia longissima (izuka, 1912) would have priority  [details]
