Additional information Types. Presumed lost (Serejo, 2004).
Type locality. Probably Santa Catarina, Brazil.
Ecological type. Beach-hopper.
Habitat. Tropical, often inhabiting exposed sand-beaches, found together with Atlantorchestoidea brasiliesis at Rio de Janeiro. This is the single species that colonized the Rocas Atoll (Serejo, 2004).
Sexual orientation. Mascupod.
Size. Male, 9.2 mm, female, 9.5 mm.
Distribution. Brazil: from Rio Grande do Norte to ?Santa Catarina, including Rocas Atoll (3º52'S 33º48'W), an oceanic Island distant about 70 km off the Rio Grande do Norte coast (Serejo, 2004). [details]
