Classification Klussmann-Kolb & Dinapoli (2006: 118-129) brought convincing evidence that Gymnosomata and Thecosomata are sister-groups, so that Pteropoda can be considered as a clade (skipped here in the taxonomic tree to avoid too many ranks), which is sister-group to the Anaspidea. Not tested in Grande et al., 2004. [details]
