Type material Nurminen (1964) did not designate a type-specimen or -locality. He only says (page 49) that type specimens, preserved in Bouin's fixative, will be deposited in the Zoological Museum of the University of Helsinki. Besides that, on page 50 he writes that L. fennicus has so far been recorded from five localities in the Gulf of Finland. [details]
