With 10 to 15 branchial pairs from chaetiger 4, slightly wider at base and slightly longer than segment width. First two notopodial postchaetal lobes short; longer in chaetiger 3, digitiform with wide base, longer in branchial region, becoming small, cylindrical protuberances posteriorly. Lyrate notopodial chaetae from chaetigers 3–5, asymmetric, of two different types: lyrate chaetae from branchial region having distal portion longer with thin inner teeth; those from postbranchial region with distal part short and stout, with inner teeth stouter; posteriorly, lyrate chaetae becoming thin again."
