Diagnosis Tentaculate ctenophores with bright red mesoglea and an elongate, cylindrical body. Adults with large, darkly pigmented stomodaeum. Comb rows with large, pigmented ctenes. Orange canals, tentacle bulbs, and tentacles which bear tentilla. [details]
