Taxonomy This is a tentative and likely erroneous placement until this problematic species can be fully resolved. Type is apparently missing. HES Clark (1970) placed this species in Distolasterias..but has not been re-visited since. McKnight (2001) also observed affinities of this species with Astrostole. [details]
