Diagnosis Benthic Acrocirridae. Body cylindrical with 25 segments, minimum (< 3.4 mm in length). Prostomium heart shaped, without eyes. Cephalic hood absent, head non retractile. Peristomial palps short, club shaped, with bases separated by at least the width of the palps. Branchiae two pairs, present on segments 2 and 3. Boundary between thoracic and abdominal segments indistinct. Epidermis with a variable coverage of papillae. Parapodia reduced, without associated papillae. Notochaetae spinous capillary.
