Original description Parra-Velandia et al. (2014) stated that the holotype originated from Caracas, but Schmidt clearly mentioned 'Antillen' in the description and refers to St.. Croix and St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands in his introduction. The label of the holotype says 'Vestindien' as shown clearly in Parra-Velandria's Fig. 7A. The collector is Dr Kornbeck (not certainly spelled correctly, cf. label of specimen). [details]
