Description Four erect tubes, 8-10 cm high, 2 cm diameter, wall 1-2 mm thick. Softly resilient. Main skeleton a reticulation of tracts of 2-4 spicules, with spongin at the nodes, meshes 180-280 µm, connected by single spicules. The skeleton is reinofrced by dendritic spongin fibres 16-32 µm thick, cored by 1-2 spicules. Oxeas 64-74 x 3.5 µm (Pulitzer-Finali, 1993). [details]
