Taxonomy Lendenfeld attributed his material to Carter's Dysidea chaliniformis, but this is a clearly different species (see Psammochela chaliniformis) according to Van Soest (2002: 618, family Myxillidae). Although technically at fault, we maintain this species for the time being as authored by Lendenfeld.  [details]
