Ecology Often grows on the tips of live or dead branching stony coral or fibre coral (Millepora dichotoma)colonies.The sponge often harbours a large number of sabellid tube worms [details]Holotype Frank Nobbe deposited a "holotype to SMF in frankfurt (no.5165)"
One of us (JG)examined the specimens in Frankfurt and confirmed their specificity with the present species [details]
