Neogotocotyla rohdii n.gen. n.sp. (Monogenea: Gotocotylidae) is described from the gills of Scomberoides lysan from Karachi coast. On the basis of the characters such as five elongated testes situated anterior to ovary, absence of internal ribs and basal accessory sclerites in clamps and absence of anchor, it is distinguished from other genera in the family.
