Diagnosis Umbrella is a flattened hemisphere; pedalium flat, with 16 marginal lappets, 12 tentacles as long as the umbrella diameter. 4 rhopalia on a cup-shaped base filled with dark red pigment, with lens. Stomach tube short, mouth edge four-lipped, lips triangular. "S" shaped 8 gonads elongate, faintly corrugated, not arranged in pairs but locations variable, extending under muscle ring. Stomach, and sensory lappets dark red; tentacles, including their bases, pink; gonads light brownish; rest of body is colourless or no mesogleal pigment inclusions. [details]
