Habitat Although the holotype comes from the upper reach of a sea loch connected to the Firth of Clyde there is no indication in the habitat information that the environment is other than fully marine. The ecology statement is "Subtidal from 5–35 m (occasionally deeper) in sandy mud and muddy, soft sediments." [details]
