Ostracods from the Tertiary of Burma are described and figured. Some of them are new. Most of the species are confined to only one or two of the formations of the local stratigraphic sequence. Some of the species from the Neogene of Burma are already known from Sumatra or India. Ostracods from recent sediments of the Tenasserim and Arakan coasts of Burma are included in this paper, as they are of special interest for taxonomy or biostratigraphy.
