type locality contained in Southern Ocean [details]
Type locality Baird names the type locality as Narcon Island, but the name has been investigated by several people, and the conclusion is that this island does not exist. As a cursive handwritten 'Marion Island' looks much like Narcon Island the type locality is believed to be Marion Island. [details]
