Taxonomy CLEMAM lists Doridium/Melanochlamys seurati as a synonym of M. algirae based on advice from Dr Pasquale Micali and Dr Danilo Scuderi. This synonymy is followed here, although it has never been formally published. This, in turn, makes M. maderensis [a recognized senior synonym of M. seurati] a synonym of M. algirae[details]
