Nomenclature Although according to ICZN art. 31.1 the name for this Hyalonema species should have been thomsoni, its original erroneous spelling as thomsonis is to be maintained under art. 32.3 as it does not meet the conditions for a mandatory correction. Authors have changed the name frequently to thomsoni. but this is to be considered a subsequent misspelling. [details]
