Editor's comment The geocoordinates of the type locality provided by Musco et al. (2005) have an error in the longitude, instead of being 40º14.9'N, 7º53.4'E, they should be 40º14.9'N, 17º53.4'E. [details]

Habitat In a variety of substrata, like superficial sciaphilous substratum, hard photophilus substratum with Chondrilla nucula, coralligenous formations, mud with Caulerpa racemosa and Udotea petiolata, and Posidonia oceanica. [details]
