A new troglobitic halocyprid species of Ostracoda, Spelaeoecia saturno, is described from Cueva El Saturno, Holguin Province, northeast coast of Cuba. Also, Spelaeoecia cubensis Kornicker & Yager, 1996, is reported from two additional caves in southern Matanzas Province: Cueva El Brinco and Cueva 1900
