Description Diameter up to 3mm, length variable. Similar to Vermetus sp. But much smaller. Flat, brown-red operculum with slightly raised central knob. Tubes irregularly arranged in colonies, often covered with encrusting coralline algae. Habitat: attached to coral rocks on shallow reefs. Distribution: W Indian Ocean to SE Atlantic Ocean.
