Description Disc covered by very fine scales. Radial shields three times as long as broad, distally contiguous. Oral shields slightly broader than long, rounded-rhomboidal. Adoral plates don't meet in anyway. Aboral arm plates broader than long, oval to fan-shaped, distal side convex and in contact with the next plate. Oral arm plates about as broad as long, rounded-pentagonal, distal side concave. One tentacle scale. Five (sometimes six on the proximal segments) pointed arm spines, the lowest one slightly the longest, length more than an arm segment. Habitat: coral reef (Balinsky, 1957). [details]
