Also distributed in Tuamotus, Gilbert Islands, Canton Island (Clark,1954); SE Arabia, Maldive area, Bay of Bengal, East Indies, north Australia, Philippine, China, south Japan and South Pacific Is. (Clark & Rowe, 1971).
General distribution: from the Red Sea to Polynesia (Tortonese, 1980). [details]
