Three new species of stylasterid corals are described: a Crypthelia (C. micropoma) from the western Indian Ocean and two closely related species of Lepidopora (L. cryptocymas, L. polystichopora) from off New Zealand. Each of the three species has some unique character states which require a broadening of their respective generic diagnoses.Descriptors: CRYPTHELIA MICROPOMA new species; LEPIDOPORA CRYPTOCYMAS new species; LEPIDOPORA POLYSTICHOPORA new speciesfigs. 1-31.
