Spelling Viguier (1886: 425) uses the correct spelling of Amblyosyllis. Possibly there are no usages of the combination as a misspelling. However, the Biodiversity Heritage Library (viewed April 2019) indexes the incorrect genus spelling combination as a species name and links it to just one page (https://biodiversitylibrary.org/page/31415282) in "Journal of the Royal Microscopical Society" where there is a review of Viguier's article. However, the correct genus spelling is used on that page. There are no other occurrences found in a full text search. It is unknown why this error occurs. It is either an OCR error, or a manual data-entry error. [details]
