Diagnosis Comanthus with 19-48 arms; anterior arms often longer than posterior arms; cirri 0—XI (fewer as size increases), 10-11 segments; 5-7 distal segments bear dorsal transverse processes; centrodorsal round in small specimens to pentagonal with subradia [details]
