Diagnosis Original diagnosis by Hartmann-Schröder (1960): "Prostomium mit flügelförmigen Nuchalwülsten am Hinterrand wie Pterosyllis; Palpen getrennt; Antennen und Cirren gegliedert; Pharynx unbewaffnet; Magen mit Drüsenringen; Borsten zusammengesetzt, mit falcigerem Endglied. [details]Diagnosis Diagnosis by Fauchald (1977): Three antennae and two pairs of tentacular cirri. Prostomium with paired posteriorly directed nuchal lappets. All appendages articulated. Eversible pharynx armed." [details]
