Taxonomy Knight-Jones (1973) elevated the subgenus Spirorbis (Romanchella) Caullery & Mesnil, 1897 to full generic rank. At the same time she erected the new taxon Bushiella as a subgenus of this full genus Romanchella, with as type Romanchella evoluta (Bush, 1905). Rzhavsky (1991) included Jugaria as subgenus in Bushiella; by default the other species in Bushiella should be placed in Bushiella (Bushiella). [details]
