Diagnosis Original diagnosis by Johnson (1901: 413): "Characters of Aricidea Benedict and Webster, but differs from it in having well-developed parapodia and setae on the peristomium, and no ventral cirri. Eyes very large, compound. Anal cirri, two." [details]Synonymy Hartman (1944: 314) suggested Aricideopsis was not Paraonidae as originally placed and provisionally referred it to Laonice in Spionidae. It appears there is no disagreement with this assessment. [details]
