Synonymy Pettibone (1992: 15) includes Peisidice Johnson (1897) as a synonym of Pholoides Pruvot, 1895. She gives the following entry for Peisidice: "Peisidice Johnson, 1897:184. [Type species: Peisidice aspera Johnson, 1897, by monotypy. Gender feminine.]. On page 18 she recombines P. aspera as Pholoides asperus. [details]
