Spelling The original spelling was Anamöbæa Ørstedii. The original WoRMS entry AphiaId 326435 was as A.'oerstedi'. However, Krøyer & Ørsted were Danish and for the mandatory code correction the diacritic is simply deleted. The original double 'ii" is retained. Hartman catalogue used Krøyer's original spelling, but referred the species to "Hypsicomus oerstedii" [sic] [details]

Type locality "Indiae occidentalis" or West Indies, unspecified in the article. One syntype at ZMUC is recorded as from St Croix. [details]

Type specimen Tovar-Hernández & Salazar-Silva (2008) recorded the holotype as ZMUC 18.9.1845. The current ZMUC digitised catalogue (2011) [at http://daim.snm.ku.dk/search-in-types] records two syntype lots, POL-002120 (West Indies) and POL-002121 (St Croix) [details]
