Diagnosis Original diagnosis by Kinberg (1865: 169-170): "Lobus cephalicus brevis, segmentis 2 proximis brevior, fronte brevi, margine posteriore parum inciso; oculi mediocres, antennae dimidiam partem lobi cephalici longiores; cirri tentaculares elongati; paris 3:ii segmentum 7 superant; maxillae 12 dentatae, dentibus, antrorsum inclinatis, 6 conjunctis, papillae pharyngis ordinum 2 paucae, seriem simplicem; 3 seriem duplicem; 4 acervos obliquos; 6 acervum irregularum papillis 7—8; 7 et 8 series duplices, anteriorem papillis paucis validioribus, fingunt; cirri dorsuales mediocres nec terminales."
