Editor's comment Classified with the subspecies Spirobranchus giganteus corniculatus, the taxon P. davaoensis nowadays is regarded to belong to the Sp. corniculatus-complex, most probably Sp. corniculatus sensu stricto (or Sp. cruciger). Hartman (1956) renamed P. davaoensis to P. caeruleus, see there as well. [details]Holotype American Museum of Natural History, New York 3220 [details]
