As Hartmann-Schröder's species has been moved to Aphelochaeta the secondary homonymy is resolved. [details]

Grammatical gender As Tharyx is masculine, the original spelling as Tharyx longisetosa is incorrect, and should have been Tharyx longisetosus, or would be if returned to the genus, but the original combination is superseded.
