Status It is important that Hermadion truncata (Czerniavsky, 1882) is not confused with the better-known Hermadion truncata (Moore, 1902), a species now in Hermadionella. The combination in Hermadion is listed in the Hartman Catalogue but it is unknown from what source she recorded the combination. Sahin & Cinar (2012) list the species as a nomen dubium, apparently based on prior checklists, but no further detail is included. [details]
