Editor's comment Mörch referred to Serpula cristata (non Lamarck) Sowerby 1820-25, fig.7, Sowerby's original figure, however, might be referred to Serpula vermicularis by its pink cristate tube, and is dissimilar to the white and porous tube as described by Mörch. There is a vial with the name Serpula eryhthrospila, containing a coral, in the Museum in Copenhagen, I may have missed an epibiont in the late 60-ties. [details]Unreviewed
