Synonymy Mackie (1987: 18) examined the syntype material of Haploscoloplos tortugaensis Monro, 1933 and stated that the synonymy to L. fragilis (Verrill, 1873) by Hartman (1951) was incorrect. He suggested the syntypes were young specimens of L.robustus (Verrill, 1873), and he tentatively made the synonymy to that species. [details]
