Original Combination From the original combination, Hydroides glandiferum, subsequently changed by Rioja to Olgaharmania glandifera, it is evident that Rioja intended the specific name to be an adjective which should follow the gender of the genus. Since the genus Hydroides in the meantime is feminine again (ICZN 4th Edition (1999: Art. 30.1.4.4), the correct ending is –a.
