From editor or global species database
Publication date Volume 10 of Memoranda Societatis pro Fauna et Flora Fennica was published in sections, with each section being a quire (= 4 sheets of paper folded to make 16 pages), and the printing date in the last page; the section including Karling’s article (pages 241-256) shows the printing date as “Types expr. 31.12.1934”, and so the publication date of Haplobranchus balticus is ‘1934’, instead of ‘1933’ as sometimes stated.
