Type locality Off Cape Finisterre, northern coast of Spain, in 81 fathoms. The Hartman catalogue records the location as 'England', but this is incorrect. The collection was made by the English 'Porcupine' voyage, but the geographic location is well outside UK, thus the species is not strictly a 'British' annelid. [details]
