There are over 100 species of nemerteans in the Sea of Japan, 23 on the western coast of Japan and 83 in the northwestern part of the Sea of Japan. Low-boreal (64%) and subtropical-lowboreal (20%) species predominate. Data on the distirbution of nemerteans by substrates and depths are presented; patterns of reproductions and development for some species also given.
